We were in the front row. The foot drum set sounded great from our seats. Thank you very much for recording this show. Here is a picture for iTunes.
A nice night of some acoustic down-home cookin' from JJ, a nice mix of some tastiness for the home town folk, including his parents, nice seeing them, the looked very proud of their son. Interesting venue (converted church*), run by the same folks who run the St. Augustine Ampitheatre -- they are very nice and friendly. Great seeing some old mofrofriends, Elizabeth Miglitz, Clay (and his sweet wife, nicetameetcha), Scott, of course love seeing my mama Merralee getting down and her friend Nita, and last, but certainly not least, Bonnie M, whose stellar performance in putting up with a tapir is duly noted and appreciated.
The sound was a little problematic, JJ had a kick snare that did some feeding back, I think they finally got it isolated. Anyway, its live, warts and all, enjoy!
